[Case Study of Wooden Facility Renovation] Bannak Lake Wooden Pathway Overall
Appropriate renovation proposals are possible! Introducing examples of walkways using FRP materials.
We would like to introduce the renovation case of the entire boardwalk at "Banna Lake (Ishigaki City, Okinawa)." Banna Lake, located within the vast Banna Park, is a pond formed by mountain water accumulation. There was a wooden deck for observing lotus flowers and small creatures, but due to the harsh environment in Okinawa, it suffered from corrosion and required renovation. Durable and long-lasting FRP material was selected, and the floorboards were treated with a sand finish to prevent slipping caused by fallen leaves and moisture. 【Renovation Case】 ■ Scale: Entire boardwalk ■ Materials Used - Structural Material: Bongoshi wood → FRP - Floorboards: Bongoshi wood → FRP - Handrails: Bongoshi wood → FRP Our company is capable of providing appropriate renovation proposals by combining various materials such as steel, aluminum alloys, FRP, recycled wood, and natural wood.
